3. How do I establish a TRUST RDG? Following TRUST’S annual workshop, which is designed to
facilitate research collaborations and the formation of RDGs,
TRUST sends out a call for proposals for new RDGs. If you are
interested in forming an RDG you will need to submit a one page
proposal outlining the research question that your RDG would focus
on, explaining why the topic is important, and why you think a
study in this area would get funding. All submissions will be
assessed and those deemed most likely to succeed in obtaining
external funding will be selected for TRUST support. 4. Does TRUST work with English RDGs? TRUST is keen to collaborate with researchers beyond Wales and the UK. If you are interested in getting involved in a current RDG then contact the network. 5. What other help and support can TRUST provide? TRUST is composed of many researchers across all sectors and professions with a stake in the provision of emergency and unscheduled care: from patient, provider, policy and academic perspectives. Therefore apart from supporting RDGs TRUST can provide a range of advice (methodological, theoretical and practical). 6. What is CRC Cymru? CRC Cymru (Clinical Research Collaboration Cymru) is a new research and development infrastructure for Wales and represents the National Assembly's response to the establishment of the UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC). CRC Cymru works in collaboration with TRUST to achieve their aim of increasing the quality and quantity of research activity in Wales for emergency and unscheduled treatment.
