1. Emergency and Unscheduled care:

  • By enhancing the quality and quantity of research proposals designed to improve the quality of emergency and unscheduled care.

  • Encourage UK collaborations

  • Support new researchers in the field


2. Research Development Groups:

  • Help with bid writing.

  • Research support for projects from the co-ordinators and the Research

  • Portfolio Development Fellow. Academic expertise from a wide number of TRUST network members
  • Help answer methodological queries

  • Help initiate ideas through an annual workshop

3. New researchers in emergency and unscheduled care:

  • TRUST can offer support and advice for new researchers

  • TRUST can also provide information on Research training

  • Links to training events in CRC Cymru and other relevant training

Limitations
  • TRUST is limited in the amount of research support it can offer to Research Development Groups. This often means that a maximum of 6 RDG's can be supported per year.
  • TRUST cannot offer funding for the Research Development Groups.
