Welcome to TRUST

TRUST: Thematic Research network for emergency and UnScheduled Treatment

TRUST has been funded by the Wales Office for Research and Development in Health and Social Care (WORD) to increase the quality and quantity of emergency and unscheduled care research in Wales. TRUST is one of nine health and social care networks in Wales. These networks are coordinated by 'Clinical Research Collaboration Cymru or CRC Cymru', an umbrella organisation for the research
infrastructure in Wales.

Network aims
TRUST aims to address the imbalance between investment and research to the benefit of patients and the wider NHS.

The network will allow:

development and submission of research proposals
building of research teams
recruitment of research sites and patients

The network will build on the existing area of research strength in emergency care in Wales, addressing areas where there is a lack of evidence to underpin current developments of priority in the UK and beyond.
